Frequently Asked Questions

What’s involved in setting up a WireCam system for a live event?

Setting up a WireCam system involves a site assessment, creating detailed drawings of the suggested path and necessary structures / fixtures, installing high-strength cables or tracks securely anchored to a temporary truss structure or the existing architecture, and mounting the camera rig. After calibrating and testing for smooth movement, a safety briefing is conducted for all personnel, with continuous monitoring during the event to ensure a seamless experience.
When setting up giant inflatables, safety is paramount. Wind speeds must be below 15 mph for outdoor use, and sufficient anchorage must be available on site. Tether lines should have break points meeting a 3-1 pull ratio to ensure stability. The correct type and amount of helium are essential, and a sufficient number of trained operatives should be present to manage the inflatable safely.
